On my drive back on to the Cape yesterday (long wknd for us!), I stopped in Orleans at Sunbird Kitchen. It's in the corner of an unassuming parking lot, but once you walk in you are taken to a very chill, retro cafe full of fun energy. Sunbird serves a new menu each day with fresh, creative "bird bites" (I'm devastated I didn't order the grilled cantaloupe salad and then they ran out), Counter Culture coffee, and a variety of beer + wine (including a new local cape brew Farmer Willie's Alcoholic Ginger Beer!!). My friends recommended this place to me, knowing I would love it, and I'm so glad they know me so well. I hope you stop in this summer and have as good of a time as I did! They also have a food truck in Wellfleet, MA if you are in the area.
