Halloween Brownie Bits

Today we are having Trick o' Treaters at the office.  Everyone is bringing in their little "princesses and frogs" to show off their costumes.  As a kid I remember thinking it was the funnest thing ever to go to where my dad worked and see his office - I'm sure all the kids are so excited (plus they get to put on their costume a few days early!).  The GL and Compliance group sit together in a row of cubes - we are all under 30 and get along really well  (not that 30+ is old and boring - ahem Paul ;) just wanted to give you an idea of the group!!).  We decided to do a western theme on our row and we have been the "row with the candy" for the past 2 weeks.  I made these little treats for the office as well!
All you need is regular brownie mix - Sandy had given us two boxes last time we were there.  Instead of having the brownie mix taunt me in Paul's pantry I thought it would be better to make something fun out of the brownies and give them to the masses (as opposed to eating them all myself which I could have easily done).
You will need a simple sugar syrup to coat the balls before you cover them in sprinkles.
Any sprinkle will work but I think nonpareils provide the best coverage :)
Bake the brownies until they are almost done, lay them out onto wax paper to cool, then scoop them up with a tablespoon and roll them into small balls.  Coat with your simple syrup and roll them in the sprinkles - then your done!

If you are going to be giving them out, I suggest wrapping them in little treat bags which can be found at Target or placing them in small cupcake liners.

Hope everyone is enjoying the week of Halloween!
