Wednesday night I was looking for a small enough vase for the table that wouldn't overwhelm the table but would hold just a little bundle of flowers. I looked around and spotted a candle that was a burnt out and I realized I could give it new life!
Pretty candles can be the perfect vases.
A trick I learned on keeping lilies alive is to pull their pollen buds off.

Side note: I just realized that I went to partycity to get something for the NFL season opener Wednesday night...NOT the SEC opening game. slowly but surely... I feel it... I'm turning into one of them! you know... a Northerner! ahhh! ;)
