Wall Gallery DIY

{I love the picture of Paul hugging my mom after the ceremony}

Last week I was in between jobs which meant I had plenty of free time to do a bunch of project around the house! Not as many as I wanted...but I put in a good 2 full days work.

Paul and I collectively had a bunch of frames lying around the house from years past and I decided to use them for a wall gallery in the guest bedroom.  I chose yellow and green 1) because we already have a green themed bed (seen here) and 2) because yellow will be warm and inviting for my out of town guests during the colder months in Boston.  I put up pictures of family from the wedding - since they will most likely be the ones staying in this room.

{my first attempt to arrange the frames - felt too expected}

{second attempt - spread them out and made them a little uneven}

{after painting - the yellow looks neon here but I promise it a much more mustard yellow in person}

{and up they went! - it's not perfect by any means but I'm not a perfectionist so it works}

{printed pics from target online - fast and cheap}

{paint project - I'll highlight the blue & orange in a post later this week}

{supplies for mounting the frames}

{paul and his mom - me and my grandmother}

{I put a picture of us in the middle of it all}

{paul, his uncle bryon, & Rob - don't look toooo close - you will see paint imperfections!!}
{our family}

I can see that I am going to have to go back with a q-tip and do some paint touch-ups.  I've started doing all of my projects while someone isn't home looking over my shoulder....the result is less perfect but at least it is DONE...well 95% done.  :)
