Sure wedding showers can be for gifts but from my experience so far, they are so much more. Fresh flowers, fun drinks, good food, sweets!, thoughtful little touches, and most importantly, all of my favorite women in the world together for a happy reason.
I have had two showers so far and below are some take-aways from both:

i would have to say my two favorite drinks are coffee and champagne :)
