Girl's Night!

When I moved to Boston I had a few major concerns....job, living situation, church, and friends.

I knew I would need girlfriends in a new city.  While I was moving up here for Paul, I needed to have my own "world" up here in the North or I would have disappeared in his and no one wanted that.

I have a great group of girlfriends back in Atlanta. I went to Auburn with most of them - there is something special about experiencing college with a close group of girls.  During the four years, you see each other at your best and at your worst.  It's hard to find friends that know you well and can laugh at your for your flaws but still love you just the same - that takes time to find.

Thankfully - I have Jenny!(which I pronounce Jinnayyy!) - She has included me since the moment I arrived in Boston.  She has great girlfriends here in Boston that are all extremely close (as they also went to high school and college together) but they welcomed me in to the group without hesitation.  I also found my roommate Marcia in this group! - Basically, it couldn't have worked out any better in the friends department!

This group of girls is always on the move in a good way - up to do brunch, have a weekly girls night, do it up big for birthdays, and they can plan quite the weekend trips!  Last night Jenny had a bunch of girls over for a post vday girl's night - everyone brought an app or a bottle of wine/champagne.

Now for the disclaimer... I tried a new approach to taking pictures last night...which involved me awkwardly focusing my lens at someone without them looking or even knowing what I was photographing - I promised them I wasn't taking bad pics - to trust me - even though I was being the creepy girl with the camera! (every group needs one of those - looks like I've found my spot! haha)  These girls always dressed so cute in their own way - I tried to capture some of my favorite shots of the night.

Food, Fun drinks, and Forever21 Fashion - what could make for a better girl's night?!?

{light pink top, dark nails, michael kors watch, and wine with a heart tag}

{red scarf, messy braid, pink nail polish, and chunky accessories}

{cozy sweater, high boots, and everyone's favorite - you don't know jacques polish}

{peach liqueur, champagne and sparkles}

I believe in the statement - If it's meant to be, it will work out.  Everything with my move to Boston worked out perfectly (with the necessary bumps along the way) - which only confirmed what I already knew
...it was meant to be.
